Though the trend is good, it's still difficult to find bike shops that have invested time into really understanding bike fit. Cool and sometimes elaborate fitting technologies have gained popularity, but these tools are just one piece of the process. Fitting is both science and art. Custom bike building fitting and positioning is so much more than taking a few measurements, or writing down some measurements off of a Serotta Size Cycle. Like a good doctor does, Tom listens, asks good questions, and then makes recommendations that require checkups & tweaks over time.
